At Hillcrest School, we are committed to academic Excellentia — a journey of growth, creativity, and purpose from the earliest years to graduation day. Our bilingual program nurtures intellectual curiosity while preparing students for success in a globalized world.

Our early childhood program provides a warm, stimulating environment where children begin their academic journey through hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and language immersion in both English and Spanish. Focused on social-emotional development, early literacy, and numeracy, this stage lays the foundation for lifelong learning in a safe and nurturing setting.

In Elementary, students strengthen their academic foundations across reading, writing, math, science, and social studies — all taught primarily in English. Spanish is taught as a core subject to maintain strong language identity and cultural connection. Students also begin weekly French classes, focusing on basic vocabulary, listening, and pronunciation through engaging stories, games, and songs.

Middle school students begin developing more advanced academic skills, with a continued focus on English fluency in all subjects. Spanish and French are taught weekly as language subjects. The French program emphasizes reading comprehension, oral practice, and vocabulary expansion while introducing students to Francophone cultures and global citizenship.

At the high school level, English remains the core language of instruction, preparing students for university and professional life. Spanish literature and grammar remain essential. French classes continue weekly, focusing on conversational skills, grammar, and written expression. Students gain exposure to world cultures and are encouraged to communicate confidently in three languages.

At Hillcrest School, students enjoy a vibrant extracurricular program that supports their growth beyond academics. Options include contemporary dance, chess club, and a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and Taekwon-Do. These activities are designed by age group and take place in the afternoons or on Saturdays, fostering creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence in every participant.

At Hillcrest School, we understand that every student learns in their own way. As part of our academic growth plan, we are preparing to launch a Student Learning Support Department designed to guide students who need academic reinforcement, emotional support, or personalized learning strategies.
